Voltage Interface Node

The WiSenMeshWAN® system provides dynamic and autonomous wireless data acquisition from geotechnical sensors using cutting-edge technology. Automated measurement of geotechnical sensors using long-range wireless radio nodes and a SmartGateway allows you to focus on more demanding tasks instead of manual data acquisition and logging.

WiSenMeshWAN® sensor nodes act as both transmitters and receivers, forming a self-organizing dynamic radio mesh network that sends data to a SmartGateway. Users have full remote control of the system through direct, triggered, or scheduled changes, enabling dynamic measurements and report generation.

Sampling Range Selection
The “Vcc_Out Hardware Switch” is used to:
  1. Select the voltage signal output range from an external sensor.
  2. Provide power supply (Vcc_Out) to the external sensor.

Example: For model 6C01, set Vcc_Out to 2.5V to power an EC-5 soil moisture sensor and allow the node to sample between 0 and 2.5V.

Note: For other sensors, consult specifications before configuring.

Vcc_Out Switch Settings
Switch Position Output Voltage (Vcc_Out)
0 (default) 1.8V (default)
1 2.5V
2 3.3V
3 5.0V

The sensors are plug and play, working straight out of the box with a self-configuring radio network. Multiple interface options enable integration with third-party sensors from leading geotechnical manufacturers (analog / digital / vibrating wire).

Designed for up to 10 years of maintenance-free operation, the units are IP65 rated or higher, with internal power and radio. Their robust industrial housings allow flexible installation to meet the needs of your monitoring projects.
