Smart Gateway
The gateway is a key component in a Wireless Sensor Network system. Its main function is to issue commands—such as modifying temperature parameters (T)—and to collect data from all nodes within the mesh network (L-Series).
Additionally, the gateway transmits the collected information and system data to a remote server via a mobile network, or to a local server via standard RS232 connections.
WiSenMeshWAN Smart Gateway
The WiSenMeshWAN® system provides dynamic and autonomous wireless data acquisition from geotechnical sensors using cutting-edge technology. Automated geotechnical sensor measurement, utilizing long-range wireless radio nodes and a SmartGateway, allows you to focus on more demanding tasks instead of manual data acquisition and logging.
Sensors are plug-and-play and work straight out of the box with a self-configuring radio network. Multiple interface options allow integration with third-party sensors from leading geotechnical manufacturers (analog / digital / vibrating wire interface).
Designed for up to 10 years of maintenance-free use, the units are rated IP65 or higher with internal power and radio. Thanks to their robust industrial housings, the units can be mounted in multiple ways to suit your monitoring project needs.

Connected geotechnical sensors and nodes automatically measure and report data at user-defined intervals, from once per second to twice per week. Configure your system to read at different intervals during specific periods or change the reading frequency based on trigger events.
A fully automated, encrypted long-range radio network—up to 1.5 km between nodes—using data-hopping technology enables seamless monitoring data collection. Add dynamic radio transmission routing and ground penetration capability for enhanced performance. These wireless hopping networks are robust and user-friendly for reliable monitoring data acquisition.
