Bitterlich Relascope - CP Scale
Small and easy-to-handle forest measurement instrument with multiple uses, allows measurement and estimation of a large number of forest parameters.
The Bitterlich Relascope is used in many applications such as measuring horizontal distances, determining basal area, individual tree height measurement or section height measurement, diameter measurement at any height, slope measurement, etc.
Mirror relascope presented in a metal capsule that is easily handled with one hand. Interchangeable and shock-resistant glass illumination windows.
Measurements are made through an eyepiece that gives a circular field of view divided into two equal halves by a horizontal line. Above appears the landscape, below the graduations drawn on a swinging pendulum. A button allows the pendulum to be locked or released.
The most significant feature of this relascope is the presence of scales in the shape of a U, which are designed in such a way that they automatically correct the views launched based on their inclination. Thus, for sights launched from the same position with different inclinations, it is not necessary to take into account the increase in distance that occurs as the slope increases.
With the relascope, different parameters can be measured or estimated, both of the individual tree and the forest mass.

Metric Scale "CP" (CP)
Metric “CP”: Scale that combines the functions of MS and WS Scales and is therefore very versatile. Very interesting for measuring Basal Area in any type of mass.
Metric Scale (MS)
Metric Standard: Especially suitable for temperate climates with tree diameters of up to 80 centimeters, specially marked for measuring heights from standard distances of 15, 20, 25 or 30 meters.
