Pillar and wall attachment for surveying instruments
The device is especially suitable for use on pillars (without a pillar head finishing plate), wall parapets, industrial floors, machine foundations, consoles, etc.
Before measuring, the tripod is screwed onto the base plate (gray cast iron, coated with red powder, Ø 200 mm, height approx. 55 mm) with the firm grip adjustment screw.
Fine positioning is done by moving the plate with the help of the centering pin, which, when not in use, can be stored and securely secured in the cross hole of the plate body.
The spring-loaded ball of the centering pin slides over the pin and is placed exactly in the center of the screw's centering during the fine positioning of the plate. The adjustable 8' leveling bubble aids in precise alignment.
The high own weight of almost 3.25 kg allows for secure placement and work.
The tips are hardened for a long life and, of course, are interchangeable.
