Autonomous Laser Scanning Module Leica BLK ARC
High-precision laser scanner that captures data in real-time and stores it directly in the cloud. The information can be accessed and processed at any time and from anywhere, facilitating collaboration and data sharing among work teams.
This autonomous laser scanning module is easy to use, with an intuitive interface that allows users to perform quick and accurate scans with just the push of a button. Additionally, its long-lasting battery and Wi-Fi connectivity make it a practical and versatile tool for working in any environment.
Designed to integrate with robotic carriers to enable autonomous mobile laser scanning. Users can plan a scanning route and let the BLK ARC set off to scan.
Our first robotic carrier is Boston Dynamics' Spot robot. BLK ARC, combined with Spot, creates a fast, simple, safe, and autonomous workflow for reality capture. Together, they execute fully autonomous and repeatable scanning missions to capture 3D point clouds and panoramic images while Spot carries the BLK ARC.

With BLK ARC UI, a simple browser-based interface, users can remotely plan scanning routes with existing building plans or BIM models, including large and complex spaces. This allows the user to save time and stay in a safe location while BLK ARC scans complex or hazardous areas.
BLK ARC UI allows the user to:
- Operate different sensors and robotic carriers
- Create user profiles
- Manage scanning and robot settings
- Control the robot's path and camera
BLK ARC UI bridges the gap between the office and the field and allows loading the robot with offline planned missions in Cyclone 3DR. Once the mission is complete, BLK ARC UI helps direct the data to our software, Leica Cyclone, or upload it directly from the field to HxDR.
