TcpTUNNEL Scan Topcon
Real-time tunnel control application.
TcpTUNNEL Scan Topcon is an advanced 3D laser scanning solution for the inspection and documentation of tunnels and underground galleries. This system enables the rapid and accurate acquisition of scanning data in underground environments, enhancing safety, efficiency, and quality in infrastructure construction and maintenance projects.
With TcpTUNNEL Scan Topcon, it is possible to obtain a detailed representation of tunnels and galleries, including geometry, deformations, section changes, displacements, and cracks, allowing for better decision-making and a greater understanding of the tunnel's structural behavior. Additionally, this system offers a wide range of tools for data visualization, analysis, and export for better information management.
TcpTUNNEL Scan for Topcon
TcpTUNNEL Scan is installed on a Windows tablet connected to the TOPCON GTL-1000 robotic total station equipped with a laser scanner.
The application controls the scanning of the vault or excavation front of the tunnel and displays the point cloud in a powerful 3D viewer. Profiles are calculated with high definition and can be compared with the standard section, showing the areas of under and over excavation. By designating any point on the profile on the screen, the laser pointer marks the position in the tunnel and vice versa.
TcpTUNNEL Scan facilitates the layout of the tunnel front, such as the drilling points of the next blast, points on the section, rock bolts, riding surface, etc.

BIM |
The progressive introduction of BIM in construction is causing profound changes in work methodology, the applications used, and information exchanges between the agents involved in projects. While in building projects there is a reasonable level of interoperability between applications through the IFC format, the data commonly used in topographic projects are not well managed by the most well-known BIM applications. APLITOP guides its users so that they do not have to change their methods and tools, but only adapt them to easily integrate into BIM project workflows. |
