The new Leica BLK360 is an advanced precision laser scanner. With just the push of a button, users can capture a full scan with spherical images in just twenty seconds, more than five times faster than the BLK360 G1. Navigate through worksites with the best fast laser scanner in its class, which does not compromise quality, while the VIS technology automatically combines your scans on-site to speed up your workflow and help ensure your datasets are complete. The BLK360 allows users to work faster and smarter and get the data they need immediately.
BLK360 data is valuable for many uses - from traditional AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) to stunning VFX and Virtual Reality - and users can easily transfer and work with it in their preferred software ecosystem to create deliverables and highly accurate immersive experiences.
BLK360 Image Laser Scanner
- Four scan settings capture data in 7, 13, 30, or 75 seconds at 680,000 points per second
- Rich high dynamic range (HDR) images with 5 HDR brackets
- Small and light, measuring 155x80mm and weighing only 850g with batteries installed
- 5 times faster than the BLK360 G1, taking 20 seconds for a full dome scan with photospheres
- The Visual Inertial System (VIS) automatically registers scans in the field
- High-speed data transfer via USB-C and WiFi
Users can control the unit with the mobile app Leica Cyclone FIELD 360, which allows pre-registered scans with VIS and transmits image and point cloud data to an iPad or final project data to Cyclone REGISTER 360 or Cyclone REGISTER 360 (BLK Edition) via Wi-Fi, with full data synchronization between devices. With automated workflows in both software offerings, the new BLK360 drastically streamlines reality capture. Simple export of LGS, RCP, or E57 files makes working with point cloud data straightforward and efficient, allowing users to spend less time processing data and more time creating meaningful results.
The BLK360 also includes a free companion app, BLK Live, allowing users to control the image laser scanner and immediately view captured data for on-site insights, quality assurance, and control, as well as exporting E57 files. Available for iOS and Android.
The new BLK360 also makes it easy to integrate your data into your preferred software and share your scans with others. Upload your data directly to HxDR with automatic conversion to OBJ and cloud-based visualization, allowing others to work with and download your data. Or transfer your data to Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 or export to E57 via USB-C or WLAN for scan-to-BIM workflows.
