Haglöf Clinometer ECII-D-R
Height with Digital Distance Calculation, Form Factor, Basal Area, and Volume
Haglof ECII-D-R Features:
- Height, number of stems, basal area calculation, and volume estimation
- Adjustable form factor
- Distance calculation to the reference height
- Basal area appears on the screen
- Eliminates calculation errors
- Beaded string extending up to 60cm/24".
- Volume presentation based on input from the upper height x form factor x basal area
The EC II D-R is an electronic clinometer with a form factor and built-in functions for obtaining basal area and volume estimates. Use the EC II D-R for height readings from any measured distance entered manually or with a calculated distance.
Distance calculation is performed with trigonometry and a reference height fixed at 2m/6ft above the object to be measured. The EC II D-R model also offers an adjustable form factor from 0.10...0.95 (default 0.45). Use the built-in basal area functions to count the number of stems on your EC II D-R with one of the four basal area factors (0.5,1,2,4 or 5,10,20,40). The EC II D-R will automatically display a basal area calculation and provide a volume estimate based on the dominant tree height or average height.
HEIGHT
Calculate Distance with the EC II-D-RTo obtain the best possible results, stand as far from the tree as its height when taking the measurement. To calculate the distance, place a reference height mark at 2m / 6ft on the tree.
